Join us in singing Carol of the Bells!
Calling all VHS Chorus students and alumni! Please join us in singing Carol of the Bells this year! We might not be able to be together in person, but submit a video so we don't have to miss out on singing together! Just follow the instructions below by December 1st:
1) Review your part! Use the part-predominant tracks below to practice your part. We want to make sure you follow the notes and rhythms that are in the tracks as closely as possible.
2) Get festive! Dress with some holiday cheer
3) Find two devices. Use one to play the track (on headphones) and one to record.
4) On your recording device, go to https://flipgrid.com/e50d6962 (or use the app and the code: e50d6962). You must sign in with a Google or Microsoft email.
4) Orient your recording device to record in landscape view and stand about two feet away.
5) Press the red record button first, then press play on your track. You should be able to hear the track, but the recording should not be able to pick it up. (I recommend singing with your part-predominant track.)
6) Sing along with your beautiful voice and look like you're having a great time!
7) Smile and wait for 5-10 seconds after the song is over.
8) Press stop on your recording.
9) Check your video and feel proud of yourself!
10) Click on the green checkmark, enter your name, then click submit.
You're done! Pat yourself on the back, and watch for the video to be posted!
